В США, кстати HC syntheses масло можно называть просто синтетикой, у них нормы шире.

Так вот, в РФ всего три производителя основы масляной и масел в принципе : Газпромнефть, Роснефть и Лукойл, остальные производители занимаются так скажем купажом: покупают основу и добавляют присадок.
Причем состав одинаковый практически у всех, вопрос в пропорциях присадок и их качестве.
Эти все сертификаты — это заявочная тема. Берешь свое масло и говоришь — оно ок на такой-то стандарт, платишь, проверяют и говорят, да, действительно ок.
Это все денег стоит и имеет ограничения по времени.
Поэтому стоит сертифицироваться только под ходовое что-то, желательно под поставки на конвейер к кому-то из производителей, так как это прогнозируемый и стабильный денежный поток. Ну или под заказ дилера или нескольких большой.

6. High-temperature performance

7. Cold-temperature performance
As above, testing shows that Magnatec becomes thicker when it has been cooled. This makes the oil more liable to clog the engine in cold temperatures. Edge, however, maintains its low viscosity even after being cooled.
